Pressurized water reactors are typically surrounded in the radial direction by neutron reflectors made from stainless steel and water. These decrease leakage provide protection of pressure vessel fast neutrons damaging its integrity. Such a reflector influences multiplication factor core distribution flux fission power inside core. All these effects can be analyzed full-core simulations using macroscopic constants. Methodology for generation constants non-fuel regions will tested new at VR-1 reactor. Rods SS 304l material used construction They design to generate sufficient measurable response selected characteristics. The study is focused on reactivity worth absorbing rods reactor consists about 20 IRT-4M fuel assemblies seven UR-70.
